Alston Construction hired Sarkinen Industrial Pipelining to make four trenchless point repairs on a damaged 48-inch storm line at our large commercial project in Puyallup, WA, using the QuickLock mechanical seal system. The repairs were critical to closing out the project, and Sarkinen delivered. They planned five days for the work and finished it in one. Sarkinen did a great job explaining the various procedures leading up to and including the CIPP process.
Whenever we had questions or concerns, the team was responsive and helpful.
We had a couple of residents who had stories of workers making sure everything in and outside of homes was restored to original condition. Sarkinen also provided information on broken or compromised side sewer lines that were not part of the project so residents could arrange for repairs. They worked with us to identify ways we could adjust services an materials to avoid overages and absorb a change order for additional work to replace broken pipes.
Sarkinen finished the work within the time frame and deadline set, with all work done to the satisfaction of Taylor Bay Beach Club.

Sarkinen Industrial Pipelining was able to line two sewer lines that cross Highway 30, allowing us to avoid digging into the highway. They linked 84′ of 8″ pipe, from the South side to a manhole in the highway, and the 55′ of 12″ pipe from the north side back to the same manhole. Their crew was very responsive and showed up with all items needed for the jobs.
The Sarkinen team moved like a machine, all knew what needed to be done and they all did their jobs flawlessly. We would definitely use Sarkinen again when faced with a situation where excavation and replacement is not feasible and/or practical
